Welcome to Bad Axes!!  Bad Axes is a brand new addition to The Barn at Paint Fork concert venue, located in Barnardsville, NC. 

The Barn hosts an entire concert season each year from April to October.  We have two stages (the big stage and a brand new small stage) open for live music and other events.  Bad Axes is located inside the main building and will be open to the public year-round (click here for hours of operation).  Our axe-throwing stalls are open to any person aged 10 years and up (minors must be accompanied by adults).  Come with your friends (you are not required to be an axe thrower to enjoy The Barn and Bad Axes Lounge), come with your family, come with a large group, small group, or even come alone!  Stalls can be privately rented for your group or you can join in with others in their stalls.  Our stalls have digital targets which can be custom-made just for your party or business team-building experience (must be secured at least 7 days in advance).

Axe-throwing is a cost per person, per hour rental, and rates are subject to dates, times, group size, and length of time using the stall.  Click here to see current rates. 

 

We have a lounge with many big-screen TVs (perfect for the big game), comfortable seating, bar-top tables, and a private bar area, so come hang out!  

We will have live music at our small stage when possible, karaoke or even DJs from time to time, but music all the time!  Our food truck will be on-site, whenever possible and we have a range of drinks at the bar from beer to wine and some seltzer types drinks and non-alcoholic drinks as well.
